What kind of food is couscous?

Couscous, also known as couscous (Berber language: kseksu or sexu or seysu), is coarsely ground durum wheat (semolina), originating from North Africa. The semolina is formed by a rotating drum into small balls, which are then dried, similar to long-life couscous granules in different thicknesses.

How much is one portion of couscous?
