Pauwel Wiertsema, Chief Executive Officer
Pauwel Wiertsema has been working at HelloFresh since June 2016, where he started as COO of the Benelux. In that role he was responsible for product development and the company's operational chain. Under his leadership, HelloFresh expanded to Wallonia, Luxembourg and France and launched many new product concepts. In 2018, HelloFresh Benelux opened its own designed distribution center in Bleiswijk, a benchmark in HelloFresh's continuous investments to build, according to Pauwel's vision, a supply chain that is as fast, flexible and sustainable as possible. Since September 2019, Pauwel has been working as CEO and is responsible for all business operations in the Benelux and France. Before joining HelloFresh, Pauwel worked for Boston Consulting Group for more than seven years. He holds an MBA from Columbia University in the United States and a Bachelor's and Master's degree from TU Delft in the Netherlands.
Thomas Stroo, Chief Operations Officer
Thomas Stroo strengthened the HelloFresh Benelux team in 2016 as Transport Manager, where he focused on improving the logistics flow through in-depth data analysis and hands-on learning. He rose to become Head of Logistics and in that role launched the expansion of an electric fleet. He also optimized the delivery process to provide customers with the freshest possible ingredients in a sustainable manner. In January 2020, Thomas took over the position of COO for HelloFresh Benelux & France. Before HelloFresh, Thomas worked at DHL, where he supported numerous projects worldwide. Thomas obtained a master's degree in TEW from the University of Ghent and a master's degree in Management from Vlerick Business School.HelloFresh Group Contact
