Cooking Steps

  • Boil plenty of water in a saucepan or pot for the noodles.
  • Finely chop the onion.
  • Boil the noodles for 4 - 5 minutes until al dente.

  • Heat a drizzle of sunflower oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the onion, the cabbage and carrot, the garlic mix and the nasi-bami spices for 4-5 minutes. 
  • In the meantime discard the base of the pak choi  and finely chop both the leaves and the stems, being sure to keep them separate.

    Did you know.. pak choi is rich in folic acid, which is part of the vitamin B complex. It plays an essential role in the production of red blood cells, which helps maintain energy levels.

  • Add the chicken-turkey mince and the stems of the pak choi and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the leaves of the pak choi and fry for one more minute. 
  • Add the ketjap, Asian style sauce and the noodles and mix everything through.

  • Serve the noodles in a deep bowl and top with the crispy fried onions.
