Cooking Steps

  • Boil plenty of salted water in a pot or saucepan and cook the pasta for 10-12 minutes.
  • Drain when finished and set aside.

  • In the meantime dice the bell pepper and crush or mince the garlic.
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a deep frying pan on medium high heat and bake the onion, garlic and bell pepper for 4-5 minutes.

  • In the meantime dice the tomato and drain the tuna.
  • Finely chop the chives or use scissors if preferred.
  • Add the cooking cream, tuna, capers and white wine vinegar to the onion and bell pepper.
  • Then add the pasta and tomato, mix well and season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • Serve the pasta on deep plates and top with the cheddar and chives.
