Utensils

Baking Sheet with Baking Paper
Small Bowl

Cooking Steps

1
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Let the butter come up to room temperature.
  • Open the croissant dough tin, roll out the dough and press the dotted lines together with a fork so the dough sticks together.
2
  • In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar together.
  • Spread the butter onto the dough and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top.
  • Roll up the dough starting from the long edge of the pastry. Cut the dough into 1.5cm wide rolls.
  • Transfer the rolls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shape them into a Christmas tree (see Tip).

Tip: make sure to leave 1 cm of space around each roll, as they will expand in the oven.

3
  • Bake the Christmas tree for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, add the powdered sugar, cream cheese and milk to a small bowl and mix well.
  • Roughly chop the cranberries.
4
  • Drizzle the glaze on the Christmas tree once removed from the oven.
  • Garnish with the cranberries and serve.
