Cooking Steps

Wash the potatoes and cut into smaller pieces. Prepare a 30cm square of aluminium foil for each person and transfer the potatoes to the foil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, then toss well to coat. Seal the potatoes in the aluminium foil and then bake in the oven for 35 - 40 minutes.

Take the steak out of the fridge and allow it to reach room temperature. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Pat the steak dry with kitchen paper and season with salt. When the pan is nice and hot, fry the steak for 1 - 3 minutes per side. Remove from the pan, season with pepper and allow to rest under aluminium foil.
