Cooking Steps

1
  • Take the steak strips out of the fridge and allow to reach room temperature.
  • Bring plenty of water to a boil in a pot or saucepan for the noodles.
  • Crush or mince the garlic.
2
  • Heat the sunflower oil in a wok or deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add the Thai-style vegetable mix to the wok or frying pan and fry for 4 - 5 minutes.
  • Boil the noodles for 3 minutes until al dente.
  • Drain the noodles and add them to the vegetables. Add the East Asian-style sauce, mix well, and fry for another minute.

3
  • Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak as soon as the pan is hot. Fry the steak strips for 4 minutes.
  • Add soy sauce (see Tip), white wine vinegar, sugar and sambal*, and fry for another minute. Season to taste with salt & pepper.
  • Roughly chop the coriander.

*Take care, this ingredient is spicy! Use as preferred.

Tip: If you are watching your salt intake, use half of the soy sauce

4
  • Serve the noodles with the vegetables in deep plates.
  • Divide the steak strips on top. Drizzle with the rest of the sauce from the pan over it.
  • Garnish with coriander and sesame seeds.
